Box patties are a popular snack during the month of Ramadan, and are often served as a savory treat during the iftar meal. They are also popular as a snack at other times of the year and can be served as an appetizer or party food.
Ingredients
- Butter 1tsp
- Chicken 1cup boiled and shredded(boiled with 1/2tsp salt,1/2tsp redchilli powder)
- Black pepper 1tsp
- Mayogarlic 2tbsp
- Cream 2tbsp
- Capsicum ½ cup
- Cheese 2tbsp
- Samosa sheets
- Water as required
- All purpose flour 4 tbsp
- Oil for frying
Directions
1In a pan add Butter 1tsp, Chicken 1cup boiled and shredded(boiled with 1/2tsp salt,1/2tsp redchilli powder) saute add Black pepper 1tsp,Mayogarlic 2tbsp,Cream 2tbsp,Capsicum ½ cup,Cheese 2tbsp mix well.set aside let it cool.
2In 4tbsp all purpose flour add water and mix to form smooth paste.
3Take two samosa patti place one patti horizontally and 2nd vertically over first one.it will make plus sign.add prepared filling fold the top side so that it cover the filling.apply all-purpose flour paste and fold all sides and make a square box.

In a pan add oil 6tbsp fry box patties until golden brown ready to serve.
