Croquettes are a popular snack or appetizer that originated in France. They are made by combining mashed potatoes, meat, vegetables, or cheese with a binding agent, such as breadcrumbs, and forming them into cylindrical or round shapes. The croquettes are then coated in breadcrumbs and deep-fried until golden and crispy on the outside.
Ingredients
- Chicken(boiled and shredded) 1 cup
- Potato 3(boiled and mashed)
- Bread crumbs 3 tbsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Chilli flakes 1 tsp
- Cheese as required
- Fresh coriander
- Oil for frying
- Coating ingredients
- Egg 1(beaten)
- All purpose flour
- Bread crumbs.
Directions
1In a bowl add Chicken(boiled and shredded) 1 cup,Potato 3(boiled and mashed),Bread crumbs 3 tbsp,Salt 1 tsp,Black pepper 1 tsp,Chilli flakes 1 tsp,Cheese as required ,Fresh coriander mix well.grease your hands with oil make croquettes of equal size.
2coat croquettes in all purpose flour dip into beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs.

In a pan add oil,heat oil and fry croquettes on medium low flame until golden brown.readyto serve.
