Boneless Chicken Achari Handi is a popular and delicious curry that is made with tender boneless chicken pieces cooked in a spicy and tangy gravy. This dish is a perfect combination of aromatic spices, yogurt, and achari masala, which gives it a distinct and flavorful taste. The dish gets its name from the use of achari masala, which is a blend of various spices that are used in making pickles.

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken 1kg
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Blended tomatoes (4-5)
  • Garlic and green chilli paste 1 tsp
  • Sabut dhania(coriander seeds)1 tsp
  • Kalonji(nigella seeds)1 tsp
  • Rai dana(black mustard seeds)1 tsp
  • Methi dana(fenugreek)1 ½ tbsp.
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Cream 3 tbsp
  • Butter 50g
  • Green chillies
  • Dried fenugreek(methi)1 tsp

Directions

1In a bowl add Sabut dhania(coriander seeds)1 tsp,Kalonji(nigella seeds)1 tsp,Rai dana(black mustard seeds)1 tsp,Methi dana(fenugreek)1tsp. mix and coarsely grind.

In a pan add Oil ½ cup add Garlic and green chilli paste 1 tsp saute for 2 mins add Boneless chicken 1kg cook until color changes Salt 1 tsp,Red chilli powder 1 tsp,Turmeric powder 1 tsp prepared masala mix add Yogurt ½ cup and cook until water dries add Blended tomatoes (4-5) cover and cook on medium flame for 15mins until done.then add Cream 3 tbsp,Butter  50g, Dried fenugreek(methi)1 tsp.Cover and steam cook on low flame for 2 mins.ready toserve
